JHIFF 2024 Films Recognized by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences

We are excited to share that two films featured at Jackson Hole International Film Festival (JHiFF) 2024 have received special recognition from The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. This year, the Academy is extending invitations to join its prestigious organization to 534 artists and executives who have made outstanding contributions to the world of motion pictures.

Academy CEO Bill Kramer and President Janet Yang expressed their enthusiasm, stating, “We’re thrilled to welcome this talented group whose work has made a global impact.” This class includes a remarkable group of artists, technologists, and professionals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to filmmaking and the broader film industry.

Among those honored are cinematographer Rina Yang for her work on The Fire Inside, and composer Lorenz Dangel, along with production designer Julian R. Wagner, for their contributions to September 5. Their achievements highlight the creative excellence showcased at JHiFF and underscore the festival’s role in celebrating impactful storytelling.

We are proud to celebrate these talented individuals and the meaningful work they bring to the global filmmaking community. Congratulations to Rina, Lorenz, Julian, and all the invited artists! Their success inspires us and enriches the vibrant spirit of the Jackson Hole International Film Festival.
